Erin Brown

Development & Community Outreach Coordinator

rin Brown was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, where her early childhood was marked by abuse, family dysfunction, divorce, and periods of abandonment. Despite these hardships, her life changed when her loving grandparents stepped in, providing the stability, guidance, and encouragement she needed to grow into a strong and determined young woman. Those early experiences shaped her resilience and inspired a lifelong passion for helping others overcome adversity and find hope in difficult circumstances.

As a young adult, Erin joined the United States Air Force, where she developed the independence, discipline, and confidence that would guide her throughout her life. During this time, she became the proud mother of her daughter, Hailee (now 27 years old and living near Seattle). After leaving an abusive marriage, Erin made the courageous decision to start over and build a better future for herself and her daughter. That new chapter began when she met and married the man she proudly calls their “knight in shining armor,” Jason Brown. (Fun fact: they were married on 02/02/02 at The Little White Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas.)

After her honorable discharge from the Air Force, Erin pursued higher education at Texas State University, earning her Bachelor’s degree in Business Education. She went on to teach high school for five years, where she discovered her passion for helping others learn, grow, and find confidence in themselves. She later earned her Master’s degree in Adult Education again from Texas State and transitioned into the corporate world, where she built a successful career in software training and professional development.

Outside of helping others, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and friends, cheering for the San Antonio Spurs, loving on her lively cockatoo, three pups, and two grand-pups.

Today, Erin is excited to begin a new chapter as the Development & Community Outreach Coordinator for Angels Over Cliffs. In this role, she is committed to serving the community and helping others discover hope, healing, and new beginnings. Her personal journey reflects resilience, faith, and a deep belief that even the most difficult circumstances can lead to a life filled with purpose and meaning.
