Creiselda Terpoorten grew up in Corona, married for sixteen years, and is a graduate student at UC Riverside school of Public Policy. Her background in mental health, community organizing, and reentry services led her to public policy to focus on reentry and housing policies. In addition, Creiselda volunteers and co-leads the County of Riverside Continuum of Care, Reentry Subcommittee and UCR’s Underground Scholars Initiative bringing solutions to the region for residents transitioning back to the community. Her passion is bringing hope to the hopeless and bridging gaps in systems. In her spare time she loves hanging out with friends and family, attending shows, and traveling.
